Suad started performing professionally at a young age. She has collaborated and worked with many artists throughout her career. Her musical mentor was Ms Dionne Warwick. Her early performances were in such places as, The 500 Club. The Club Harlem, and The Wonder Gardens. Her music is described as a Spirit filled Message Music with R&B influences.
